My perspective on parenthood changed forever when my first daughter was born in February 2020. Experiencing a life-threatening birth complication, lockdowns, glandular fever and postnatal depression showed me just how vulnerable the early months of parenthood can be.
It also reinforced two things I'll never forget: new parents often feel far more alone than they should, and the right support at the right time can change everything.
That's the philosophy behind Safe Hands today.
